1st Grade Drama Curriculum

Students in first grade drama are discovering the art of storytelling through creating their puppet shows, studying folktales, and fairy tales. 


2nd Grade Drama Curriculum

Students in 2nd grade drama are taught how to use their shape/level to create stories. They build their identity as storytellers creating tableaux based on paintings by famous artists like Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, Edgar Degas, and etc. They are also encouraged to create their own stories and perform them for their peers. During this level of Drama, they also begin to critique their peer's performance in order to develop their storytelling skills.
